Light control setup

• Turn on the manager's menu
• Enter the setups menu and click Setup tablelight controls
• If you are using a CM11(a) or the CP290 choose the appropriate communications or serial port. This must be a valid and existing serial port on the computer.
• The CM15A model or X10 Pro model will use the USB port. Click save. End and restart the program for the settings to take effect.

In the above example the manager has chosen the USB #2414U PowerLinc computer control module with the Universal Serial Bus (USB) port selected. If the manager has purchased one way light modules (AM466), then he should select the one way module option under the light module type. The one way or two way modules option will be ignored by the PowerLinc Module: all Powerlinc modules are capable of two way transmission.

A two way module (e.g., AM14A) can report back to the computer control module (CM15 or CM11) its on or off status. Billiard Business Solutions supports both types of modules. After turning on or off an individual light, the status bar in the lower left hand corner of the main program reports the status of the actual light module.

If the one way module option is checked, the program just reports the last successful command sent for that table. This information is stored in the computer control modules (CM15 or CM11), but may or may not be an accurate reflection of the light module.

To have an accurate status report of the actual module, the owner will have to use the two way capable modules and choose the two way option in the Light Control Setup menu.
